How many students are there per class?
Our teacher to student ratio is 1:6 for courses and 1:12 for workshops. Our personalised lessons are 1:1 private teaching or to small groups.
Do we have to bring any art materials when attending courses with L.A.C.?
No, you don't have to. We will provide the materials to facilitate your learning.
What are the payment methods available?
We accept Paynow and cash. Payment needs to be made before all workshops, courses and personalised lessons.
If you have booked our classes through Lhoko, payment will be made through Lhoko.
How do the workshops work? Will my friend and I who have little or no experience in the medium be able to join?
Absolutely. Our studio seeks to conduct quality workshops for all individuals and our workshops are planned with participants with no experience in mind. We look forward to seeing you at our workshops and/or courses.
How do I book a workshop/course/drop in class?
Our workshops and courses page will bring you to our class listing on Lhoko. We only accept bookings through Lhoko currently. We are working on creating our own booking system so that all bookings can be made directly through L.A.C. in the future.
I would like to enrol in a workshop/course. Where can I see the timings available?
We commence our workshops/courses based on the preferred start date and time of our students (subject to our teachers' availability). Booking of your preferred date can be made through Lhoko via OPEN REQUESTS, or simply drop us an email to enquire on your preferred start dates. Please note that our workshops and courses require a minimum of 2 students respectively to commence.
I wish to enrol in a workshop/course alone. What are my available options?
You would join other participants if there is an upcoming workshop/ course.
If there is no upcoming workshop/ course, or if the timing does not suit you, we would put you on the waiting list till the minimum quota is reached.
Alternatively, you may wish to enrol in our personalised lessons.
CANCELLATION/ EARLY TERMINATION
What if I have to cancel my workshop reservation?
A 50% refund will be provided if cancellation is made 1 week in advance of the workshop date. No refund will be given for any cancellations made after. We seek your understanding to inform us as early as possible of your cancellation because we plan our workshops in advance and would need to cover our material cost.
What are my options if I miss a course session?
Our course schedules are discussed and confirmed with you before commencing the first session. We seek your commitment to attend all sessions of the course. We regret to inform that there is no refund for any missed session(s).
Do I get a refund if I drop out of my course halfway through?
Our course schedules are discussed and confirmed with you before commencing the first session. We seek your commitment to attend all sessions of our course. However, we also understand that there are unforeseen circumstances that forces you to terminate your course with us prematurely. We will provide a 50% refund of your unattended sessions if there is a valid reason (with evidence provided).
Valid reasons include:
1) Medical condition
2) Moving out of the country
What are my options if I have to cancel my personalised lessons?
Please inform us of your cancellation 1 day in advance and the session will be rescheduled. We regret to inform that no refund will be given for late cancellation.
